With 20 years of ERP recruitment, I have had the chance to recruit for lots of Infor products. I think Infor are the 4th largest ERP software company in the world. A massive American corporation with all of the madness and bureaucracy that comes with that.

I don’t deal with Infor themselves, because they change their minds too much (recruiting flat out in January, then firing 20% of the workforce in February), but I deal with some of the Infor Partners and end users.

I have recruited for:

Infor M3 and Movex, which is a good market for me as I have been talking to Movex and M3 people for 20 years.

Syteline is a terrific ERP solution for complex manufacturing, good for big multinationals, and with a similar profile to the Epicor Kinetic product, although Epicor is more up-to-date.

I think Syteline was called Cloudsuite Industrial for a while.

Infor LN and Baan. I remember hearing about a Baan contractor on £500 per day when I worked at Abraxas in 1998. I think Ian Ostrer (now retired) was the recruiter dealing with it. Anyway, nearly 30 years on, Infor are still selling Baan, rebadged as Infor LN, and is has become a huge ERP solution. The projects go on forever, so there are good salaries and a chance for long-term careers working on it.

Being giant ERP solutions, there is always a demand for experienced ERP support people and historically I have done very well helping companies hire ERP support people with Infor skills.
