Sage X3 ERP
Sage X3 is the warhorse of Sage’s ERP offerings. It is stable, solid and scalable.
For large Manufacturing companies, X3 offers superb functionality in:
- Made to Order
- Engineered to Order
If you have complex manufacturing with a tricky supply chain, Sage X3 is a good choice.
It was originally a French ERP solution called Adonix, which Sage bought in 2010. There is still a development team in France, and some of the support notes will still pop up in French. I think it is fair to call it an idiosyncratic piece of software, complicated to get to know and understand.
Fortunately, in the UK, X3 has a huge following and a very strong network of partners, so regardless of how complicated your manufacturing and supply chain is, you will find competent consultants to make it work.
Candidates
Anyone faced with an opportunity to train in Sage ERP X3 should recognise the incredible opportunities that this added software skill will give them in the future and very seriously consider the job. Salaries are above average and compete very well with the top-tier ERP product sector. As a certified Sage ERP X3 Consultant, you will be able to work anywhere in the world.
Clients
For complex manufacturing in the UK, X3 is a very logical choice.
